The Northwest North Carolina Advanced Materials Cluster Initiative is a public-private economic development partnership purposed to research, education, and economic infrastructure in northwest North Carolina.

Everyone has a Role in the Cluster

Cluster development is inclusive of all economic sectors, from education and financial institutions to designers and manufacturers. Small businesses are the foundation of the region's economy, and the cluster is a means to coordinate collaboration among a diverse group of businesses.

For starters, participating in the cluster involves communicating with other cluster members. The initiative has a messageboard and list-serve to facilitate intra-cluster communication.
